App Design

Home Screen

The home screen shows where the user is in their pattern (highlighted row), this can be clicked on to expand or can follow along from the home screen.

There are also monthly free patterns available in the library by Loop artists, this appears at the top of the home screen.

There are daily stretches suggested to each individual user based on their useage data.

Usage data is also displayed on the home screen, as well as text streams with the Loop Community.

Health Profile

This is a selection of Loop Community Physical Therapists and doctors who teach preventative stretches and help the loop community stay on top of their hand health by answering messages and being available for calls.

Preventative stretches and periodic breaks can create healthy habits in the community, and promote health awareness.

This allows medical professionals to have access to the community’s risk possibilities through their loop data, and this encourages a safer community.

Loop Library

Loop has a free library of all patterns created by Loop textile designers. This not only creates jobs for textile designers, but creates a rewarding ecosystem of designers and creators.

Users can also scan in patterns that they purchased from other sites, such as Etsy or Ravelry, and the Loop system can read them as well and still follow along. Following along patterns supports beginner crocheters, as well as crocheters who might struggle with remembering where they are in a pattern.

These patterns are also graded on a skill level scale to better guide users.
